People partner with horses to learn about life and loss.

“We know horses have an amazing ability to reach deep inside a human and touch on parts of their life that need attention.” – Darlene, Stronger Life Connections EAL
Connections with horses is one way that we can unload our backpacks so that we are not held down by our grief, but instead gifted with the ability to live a life of hope, connection, and purpose. Horses have an amazing ability to “read” our thoughts through connecting with our energy and empathizing with our emotions. They can take on those rocks and carry our deepest pain.
Along with the tools from the Grief Recovery Method, Darlene is able to walk you through a process of connecting with a horse, learning to trust, and to experience the road to healing.

Call Darlene at 403-793-2799 to book your initial free “Meet the Horses” session to see how the Horse Connections Program can transform your life. No horse experience is necessary.
**Horse Connections focuses on equipping individuals and families with the tools to complete loss and live life in the present. We do not offer formal riding lessons. Connection with horses and ourselves is the priority.
The Stronger Life Connections Arena is located 1 mile south of Duchess off of HWY 873. Look for our sign!
What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?
Communication between a horse and human that brings change in the human.
Horses have an amazing ability to reach deep inside a human and touch on parts of our lives that need attention. Just connecting with the horse can help us realize where changes need to be made, where healing needs to take place, where life resolutions need to happen.
Equine Assisted Learning is the process that helps make this happen and sets someone on a new path (EAL Canada).
Equine Assisted Personal Development (EAPD) Coach
is the facilitator of your session, to guide your experience and walk with you through life - its challenges and its victories.
Working with the horse as your partner, the EAPD Coach asks questions and walks you through exercises that help you discover what decisions need to be made, behaviors that need to change, or grief that needs to be processed. The Coach guides you as you establish new goals and ways to overcome obstacles in your life. The horse, yourself, and your Coach become a team working towards life transformations.
"EAPD Coaches work with individuals and families. We think of our clients as learners, learning about themselves through the eyes of the horse (EAL Canada)."
