Youth Individual and Group Sessions:

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) training work hand-in-hand to support children’s growth, confidence, and wellbeing.

Together, they provide both emotional support and structured skill development in a safe, engaging environment with horses.

Taking the Reins Youth Camp

Engage in fun, grounding activities with peers and horses.Ā  Includes basic riding.

  • 4 days - 3 hour sessionsĀ 
  • Horse time and activities
  • Grounding activities and crafts

  • Options of morning or afternoon camps

This is a chance to build on EAL and CHA skills learning along side a peer.Ā  Ā 

  • 5 session with another rider
  • Option to take CHA level tests
  • Fall Session Dates:Ā  Sept 11 - Oct 9.
  • NOTE: New Riders will need:Ā  Level 1 & 2 CHA Manuals and orientation (extra $80)

Taking the ReinsĀ EAL Coach:

Leina Reinhardt

Leina has worked extensively with children, teens and adults throughout the past 30 years
and is passionate about connecting horses to humans of all ages and skill level. The majority
of her lesson riders start with riding lessons adhering to the standards of Certified
Horsemanship Association (CHA). As specific issues arise, she incorporates EAL sessions to
enhance individual learning and personal development.
