Healing Connections

Horses have an amazing ability to sense our feelings and wrap around us when we are sad.

Have you had a recent or not-so-recent loss event in your life that you just can’t let go of? Are you brokenhearted? Are you feeling the weight down? Are you tired of change?  Do you think that one more loss will be too much? 

“Image we all start life with an empty backpack.  Life changes as children.  We move to a new house, we lose a pet, siblings come and go, and we don’t get on a sports team.  Each emotional event is like a rock we put into the backpacks we carry with us.  As we get older the backpack gets heavier and heavier until we are weighed down with our load. Then one more loss happens and we are heartbroken.”

Come to learn how to lighten your load. To find healing for your broken heart.  In a safe environment, partner with a horse and learn how to unpack your backpack and release the emotions that are weighing you down.

LADIES DAY

A time out of the office and out of town. Come out for a visit in a gorgeous Alberta setting for a time of connection with other ladies and some beautiful horses. Take some time to reflect, relax, and maybe even laugh a little.

Horse Connections Partners people with horses to learn about life and loss. Life happens to all of us. Connection with horses can create a safe space to learn the tools to let go of emotional pain so we can live life fully.

Trails of The Heart

For anyone who desires change in their lives.  Life is a journey and how we travel through life, and the paths we take, are choices each of us must make for ourselves.  Are you wanting to build deeper relationships with others?  Are you ready to move through barriers to discover who you were made to be?  

Communication between a horse and a person has been shown to bring about change.  Horses can reach deep inside a person and touch on parts of their life that need attention.  Just connecting with the horse can help you realize where changes need to be made, where healing needs to take place, and where life resolutions need to happen.  

6-Week Program (offered in groups or individually)

YOUTH RUBY CAMP

 Horse time for the kids!

The horses are teachers in this day camp where we do fun exercises that generate self-confidence, practice team building and develop communication skills.

Activities begin on the ground level and riding is optional for those who are interested.

No horse experience is necessary!

Designed for youth aged 7-12

22th - 26th July 2024

FRONT OF THE HERD (YOUTH 12-18)

Equine Assisted Learning communication between a horse and a human brings about a change in the human.

Youth Leadership program that develops the skills needed by young people to become leaders.  The course discusses Effective Leadership, Character, Trust & Respect, Relationships, Influence, and Change.  Parents reported the change in their teens after taking this course was amazing.  Their interactions, confidence, and judgment were greatly improved. 

FOUR WEEK (3 HR) Available for Groups or Individual Participants

No horse experience is necessary!

Designed for youth aged 12-18
